Fostering
Saves
Lives.

Give a dog or cat
the chance to begin again.

Fostering is one of the most powerful ways to make a difference. Every rescued dog or cat needs a temporary safe place to rest, heal, and prepare for adoption — and that begins with you.

Your Three Steps to Save a Life

  • Two puppies sitting on grass, one looking directly at the camera and the other looking slightly away, with a small orange toy nearby.

    1. Watch the Orientation Video

Learn about our mission and how fostering works.

  • A young tabby cat lying on a cushioned surface with a wicker basket or furniture piece nearby, looking at the camera.

    2. Complete the Foster Questionnaire

Share details about your experience and home environment.

  • A happy puppy lying on green grass, looking up with one paw raised and mouth open.

    3. Schedule Your Intro Call

Once your form is processed, our team will invite you to book a call.

🐾 Start Your Foster Journey

🐾 Start Your Foster Journey

Your journey begins with a short orientation designed to set you — and the animals — up for success.

Before applying to foster, please watch our brief Foster Orientation Video. Once completed, you’ll be directed to the Foster Questionnaire. This step ensures every new foster caregiver understands our mission, expectations, and the support we provide before officially joining the Crew.

Complete the
Foster Questionnaire

After you’ve completed the orientation video, you’ll gain access to our Foster Questionnaire.
This form helps us learn more about your home environment, preferences, and experience so we can make the best possible foster matches.

You’ll answer a few quick questions about your availability, comfort level with different types of pets, and any resident animals in your home. It only takes a few minutes to complete.

There’s no commitment yet — this simply helps us match you with the right foster opportunity.

Next Step:
Foster Intro Call

After your questionnaire has been reviewed and processed, you’ll receive a follow-up email welcoming you to The Crew and inviting you to schedule a brief introductory call, at your convenience, with one of our team members to answer any questions and set you up for success to start saving lives.

This call helps us:

  • Answer your questions about the foster process

  • Ensure fostering is the right fit for your lifestyle

  • Discuss what kinds of pets you’d like to help

  • Explain the next steps in placement and onboarding

You don’t need to schedule this call right now.

This extra step helps us get to know our fosters better — and ensures every placement sets both you and the animal up for success.
