Star (formerly juliet) was terrified of life when she was adopted, she had begun to come out of her shell at her foster home but was not a fan of the move, she truly preferred to be ignored in a corner. She finally learned how to sit, stay, lay down, etc which has helped her control her anxiety. It took several months but Star slowly began to trust and learn that being a dog is fun! Now she gets very (VERY) excited about her toys and daily adventures! She is happiest while hiking the wooded trails behind my house and has discovered a love for water- she loves swimming in the lakes and has her own pool that she spends hours in. If she passes a small puddle while on a walk, she will lay in it and she tries to swim in her water dish (making a huge mess). She has changed my life and her quirks bring me so much joy. Thank you for giving her a chance to life a happy life!

We adopted Ringo (FKA Chalupa) just over a month ago, and we could not be happier. He made himself at home immediately but his goofy personality comes out a little more each day. We love him so much, even when he pulls his signature move (putting a paw on each shoulder and licking our faces nonstop).
We are so honored to have adopted Karen yesterday! She is as perfect as they come. She is adjusting well and enjoying getting to know her fur brother and human brothers. She has already claimed her favorite couch cushion, too.
It’s Romeo’s first birthday and we are so excited to celebrate with him!
We kept his original name because he really is a lover, the cutest cuddle buddy. In these few months since joining the family, we have learned so much about him. Romeo is very good at fetch! Very athletic when he has the zoomies and plays soccer with his toys on the hardwood floor.
Along with fetch, his other favorite activity is watching birds and smelling the air in the windowsill. He’s met birds, squirrels, and bunnies, he even started to hunt a real mouse indoors! You could see how excited he was finding a real one after practicing with the toy so much.
Romeo has met a few dogs when we watch them for days to a week, a few his size and his brother dog (waaay bigger and faster, so we spy on him from under the door or through a window when he visits), Romeo is always very curious and wanting to make friends with any animal or person who comes by."

Aboo is a playful boy who loves laying on his cat tree and chatting with the birds. He loves spending time outside on his harness & leash. He’s the cuddliest lap cat ever. His favorite part of the day is when mom’s alarm goes off because that means it’s cuddle time. He loves being involved in everything his humans do.
Life has been great for Aboo! He adjusted to his leash and loves to spend time outside in the grass. Aboo will be moving to New York in August 2022. His birthday is coming up so lots of treats are in store!
My life has only gotten better with Aboo. He makes sure to cuddle with me every day, and loves his new brother, Murphy.

Wilbur is the biggest love bug we have ever met. He can be lazy but out of no where he decides it is time to play. Wilbur is the biggest small dude you will ever meet. He has perfected being a bed hog and needs to be smooshed between his humans all night long.
With every interaction, he teaches people not to read a book by its cover. We get stopped constantly when out with Wilbur. People ask about his breed and sometimes I just want to tell them that he is 100% purebred good boy.
Wilbur has taught us to slow down and enjoy life, take it all in. He is there for snuggles when we are sad, excited with us when we get to go on an adventure and will sit and read a book or hang with his fur sister when everyone is just relaxing. He came into our home and just sort of fit exactly where he needed to be.
My hope is that everyone finds a pet that fills their life with joy and they can share their lives with these amazing creatures that love unconditionally.
